An early artist website, this site was designed at a time when screen space was scarce (2004) and so, rather than use small thumbnails for the gallery navigation (which can have the unintended effect of discouraging people from clicking through to a large-sized image with better detail), we used _tiny_ thumbnails — just enough to allow the visitor something to recognize while choosing which image to view, but not enough to suggest that they’d seen enough to not bother clicking the link.
